SUMMER IN CHINA

V1.  It is summer in China.

The rhododendron forests

Are efflorescing with red

And white bell shaped

Flowers.  The sunlight

Shimmers on jasper

Green lakes.

C.  Lord God, the whole

Earth is filled with awe

At Your wonders; where

Morning dawns, where

Evening fades, You call

Forth songs of joy.

V2.  Lord, You care for

The land and water

It; You enrich it

Abundantly.  The

Hillsides blossom with

Joy.  Moss covers the

Rocks.  Sika deer run

Through the forest.

Kingfishers, prinias

And sibias sing in

The trees.

V3.  God, I am thankful

For these lovely

Days that I enjoy.
