RUN THE RACE

V1.  I am a saint and

I run a race.  The Lord

Is generous to those who

Have no might, He increases

Strength.  My body is

Sustained.

C.  I am forgetting what

Lies behind and reaching

Forward to what lies

Ahead, I press on toward

The goal for the prize of

The upward call of God

In Christ Jesus.

V2.  I will make haste,

And accelerate so

That I may finish

My race with joy.

And the ministry

Which I received from

The Lord Jesus, is to

Testify to the Gospel

Of the grace of God.

V3.  I run by faith,

Not by sight. 

This is my plight,

I will run with

All of my might.

When I come to the end

Of my life, I will know

I have fought the

Good fight, I have

Finished the race.

I have shared and

Kept the faith.
