RETROSPECT

V1.  As I look back

In retrospect,

I must be honest

With myself,

I must reflect.

I am not flawless.

I am not perfect.

I am not happy

Unless I confess

My sins.

V2.  I get so upset.

I get so upset.

I can not even

Lift my eyes up to

Heaven.  I pray and

Beat my chest in

Sorrow.

“O God, be merciful

To me, for I am

A sinner.”

V3.  Please “God consider

me.”  Then sin will no

longer hinder me.

I can hear God

Whisper, “I forgive you.”

V4.  As I look forward

Now, I can see how

Much better my

Life will be.
