Marriage

V1.  We are Christian

And we got married.

We made a commitment,

Before God and men,

To make our love genuine.

To love and cherish each other

Through our life’s journey.

V2.  We strive for a relationship,

That is enriched with

The Word of God.

We make every effort to

Add to our faith, goodness;

Knowledge and self-control,

Perseverance and godliness.

We have mutual affection

And love for one another.

C.  I thank God for you always.

For each other we pray,

For now and for always.

V3.  Through all our trials, I will

Put on tendermercies,

Kindness, humility,

Meekness

And forebearance;

As we promise to

Bear with one

Another

And forgive one
